Creative Writing - Group Workshopping - 28/10, 25/11, and 30/12

Join us for creative writing at Waystone Books! 

This is a block booking for three sessions, taking place on Wednesday the 28th October, Wednesday the 25th November, and Wednesday the 30th December. 

These sessions will consist of group workshopping of each others' works. The idea is that we'll have 2-4 members of the group submit some work (maybe one longer piece, or a few shorter pieces of writing) prior to each session. The rest of the group will read this work in advance of the session and write up feedback to share during the meeting. The participants who've submitted work can request feedback of a certain type (ie: where should I go from here, or looking for help with dialogue, or not sure about how the tone comes across) or just see what others think! 

We'll split into smaller groups on the night and work through all the submitted pieces, swapping over so you get feedback from everyone.

The club will run from 7pm-9pm for each session. You're welcome to arrive any time from 6:30pm to grab a drink and get settled. 

Numbers are capped at 10 for our creative writing evening to ensure everyone has a seat and the group is small enough to work creatively together.

Your ticket price includes a free hot drink of your choice (we'll have the espresso machine on, and do have decaf!).

Admission and tickets for our clubs allows us to plan for an accurate number of attendees and ensure we can cover staff costs for the evening. We unfortunately cannot offer refunds for event bookings, but please do let us know if you aren't able to attend after booking a ticket.
