Christmas Ornament Workshop - Ceramics with Catriona Archibald

Nothing says festive quite like crafting - we're so excited to host very talented local ceramicist and friend of the bookshop Catriona Archibald for a workshop making festive decorations and ornaments at Waystone Books!

We'll be getting cosy in the shop as the evening draws in, with the workshop running from 7pm-9pm on Friday the 20th of November. We'll have the fairy lights up in the shop, the festive tunes on the speaker, and cosy drinks and nibbles available on the night!

Catriona will lead a small group in creating some lovely handcrafted ceramic Christmas decorations in whatever shape takes your fancy. We'll be playing with clay on this evening, and there will be a variety of beautiful fabrics and such to create impressions on the clay before firing. Lacey snowflakes for days!

Each attendee will have the chance to craft up to five decorations of their own - perfect gifts for friends or loved ones or adornments to your own tree! The decorations will be shiny and white once fired.

The decorations will be fired in Catriona's kiln and ready for pick up from Waystone Books in mid December.
