ACOTAR Book Six Midnight Release Party - A Court of Splintered Harmony - 26th October 2026
Join Waystone Books for a midnight release party for the sixth instalment of Sarah J. Maas’ A Court of Thorns and Roses series - A Court of Splintered Harmony.
We’ll be taking over Dunvegan Village Hall (IV55 8WA), just across the road from Waystone Books, and transforming the space into a slice of Velaris, the Court of Dreams and the City of Starlight. The event will take place on Monday the 26th October from 9pm, running until 12:30am on Tuesday the 27th October. The books will be released to attendees at the stroke of midnight.

We’ll have a range of activities and games arranged for the evening to pass the time until the books are released:
Rita’s Tavern
‘The drinks are strong and the company’s stronger’
Themed refreshments and snacks will be on offer all evening. As we’re not licensed to sell alcoholic beverages, if you want to party like you’re attending Starfall, you are welcome to bring your own tipples along! Mixers, ice and garnishes provided. Pots of tea and coffee will also be available.
Like all good taverns, Rita’s will be kept lively with card and dice games throughout the evening. For those who enjoy a quieter, more contemplative activity we’ll have a couple of tables dedicated to themed ACOTAR puzzles with gorgeous illustrations.
Would you rather face Amarantha’s trials or the Illyrian Blood Rite? Raid Rhysand’s wine cellar or have free rein of Feyre’s closet? We’ll also have a deck of 100 themed would you rather questions to be used as a game or conversation starters with other tavern denizens.
The Rainbow of Velaris - Artist’s Quarter
What is a party without arts and crafts? In our ‘artist’s quarter’ we’ll have a temporary tattoo station, guided bat boy origami, ACOTAR colouring pages and art supplies, and a cookie decoration station, where you can create masterpieces too magnificent to eat. Or just snag a snack.
The Night Market
If you’ve chosen to book a ticket with a copy of A Court of Splintered Harmony included you will of course leave with a copy of the newly released book, but you can leave with many more trinkets too!
We will have ACOTAR licensed items such as puzzles, decks of cards, and sketchbooks for sale, as well as special collector’s editions of A Court of Thorns and Roses and Throne of Glass. We will also have pins and stickers, and a selection of other items.
